28: Susan Ford Bales, daughter of former President Gerald Fold, will speak at its next “Sundays in Studio K” lecture series. The event will be conducted as an interview with former local TV personality Becky Dixon, 2pm on Feb 28. “Sundays in Studio K” was formed in an effort to showcase Tulsa Ballet’s newly constructed performance and meeting facility. Measuring 73 feet in width and more than 48 feet in depth, the stage is equipped with a full lighting and sound package, all of which is managed by an enclosed control booth at the rear of the house. A house manager, ushers, lighting, sound and rigging technicians, security and follow spot operators are all available to help stage a successful production or event. Afghans for Angels
Looking for more volunteers to help create baby blanket gifts. If you can knit, crochet, quilt, or creatively decorate purchased blankets, we would love to have your help! Most of all, we need your help to get the word out! The more volunteers we have, the more hospitals (and families) can benefit from our services. Please help us to help others.
Project Linus - Tulsa Chapter
Provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need through the gifts of new, handmade blankets and afghans, lovingly created by volunteer �blanketeers.� Blankets are collected locally and distributed to children in hospitals, shelters, social service agencies, or anywhere that a child might be in need of a big hug.
